Toshiba preps release of Satellite HSDPA PDA phone

Chicago (IL) – The FCC has approved Toshiba’s latest PocketPC. Originally announced as the Portege G900 at the 3GSM conference earlier this year, the device apparently will be marketed under the firm’s “Satellite” brand, run Windows Mobile 6 and offer a feature set that will make most of its competitors look antiquated.

man.... what a waste of such good tech with such a low end processor, Marvell bought out intel's integrated chip manufacturing and with that, were able to create far better PXA processors capable of 800mhz-1GHz and supporting DDR ram and 256mb's+ of it.....

my X51v is no slouch, WM5.0 640x480 res on a 3 inch screen. 64mb ram upgradable to 128mb, 256mb NAND ROM PXA270 processor at 624mhz CF and SD slots Bluetooth 1.1, 802.11b wifi and theres like a 5 dollar OCing tool for it to bring it up to 800mhz easy

not only that, these stats were available on the older x50v 3 years ago!
