MyYahoo Adds Gmail Pane; Glitch Previews Wrong User Inboxes

Whether it be capitulation or cooperation, Yahoo has decided to put a Gmail preview pane on its MyYahoo front page. However, the contents of a few Gmail inboxes are also viewable to other users, a glitch that Yahoo ascribed to publishing features with Google's email service.

As part of a revamp of its MyYahoo.com beta, the company has added the ability to preview any mail account that supports POP mail, whether it be Yahoo or some other site. A dedicated Gmail module also allows users to preview Google's Gmail email service, and then connect directly to the service.
