MSI Computer is offering an Intel tool that tests your computer hardware including CPU, motherboard, RAM and PCI devices for Hyperthreading support. It reads PCI registers as well as BIOS and CPU ID's and compare's them to Intel HT specifications.

The tool is pretty straightforward in diagnostics and Warp2Search is working closely with VR-Zone to investigate if this tool can help identifying the obstacles that are preventing current Northwood P4's from HT readiness. (Note that the tool suggests that Northwoods would generally be able to do HT.)
