G965 chipset gains beta hardware T&L support

In our review of Intel's G965 Express core logic chipset, we noted that the chipset's integrated graphics processor could do hardware vertex processing—a rarity among IGPs—but that Intel had withheld support for that feature from its release drivers. Well, the company has now released a new beta driver that brings support for hardware vertex processing and hardware transform and lighting to G965 chipsets. The driver can be downloaded from this page on Intel's website, and Intel says the following games have been validated for playability with it:
