Logitech has been quite active in the gaming market in the past two years, releasing a slew of products targeted at gamers. Specifically, the G-series keyboards and mice have become quite popular with avid gamers because of their performance and features. The G-series mice in particular have become well-liked because of the on-the-fly hardware DPI switching and fast USB polling rates, making them some of the most accurate mice out there.

Nice. I may have to go ahead and upgrade to this one. I wanted to go with a g15 keyboard and a g5 laser mouse, but the lack of both a forward and back button kept me from moving up to it.

I am glad to see that Logitech has come to their senses and put the second button back on.

Yeah, it was silly to not put both buttons on the mouse. Personally, I'd like to know who the idiot was who designed it.

Also, how about adding a 2nd one to the G7?

I just bought this mouse yesterday and its fantastic, way better than my old MX510 ever was, being able to adjust the weight ratio on the mouse and the on the fly DPI setting at a click of a button was the real selling point for me, oh and the nice skin on it

IMO, i would have liked to see them put 3 buttons on the side.... back forward, and a center for a optional feature, (specially for games.)
