Samsung has certainly had a turbulent year as a Blu-ray supporter. If only choosing one side in the HD Format War wasn't stressful enough, our friends at Samsung have had to endure early criticism of their first Blu-ray player, the BD-P1000 (we loved that machine), poor quality early titles, and the continuously delayed Blu-ray trump card, the Playstation 3. So imagine my surprise when I discovered that Samsung had developed a follow-up model.
