After long time development, Maxthon is pleased to announce the release of Maxthon 2.0 official. Changes from Maxthon 2.0 RC4 are as follows:

Anti-Freeze
The emergence of Tabbed Browsing Mode and the increasing usage of Ajax Technology in websites might cause frequent freezing while browsing. [Test]
Maxthon Browser has developed a new technology to solve this problem, makes your surfing more fluently.

Trusted Website Check
Address Bar will show the Trusted icon and its background will turn green when you visit a trusted website. Help you secure your online transcations.

Fix several bugs that might cause freeze or crash

I've been using this version for a few hours now and it works nicely (on IE7). Fast, stable and the memory usage is reduced compared to the previous RC versions. Only a few features are not fully implemented yet, but I don't need them anyway.

Based on what I read on the forums, this is hardly final. And still no Roboform support! I don't care about the built in form-filler, I have a large db of Roboform logins.

Yes there are some bugs reported (maybe that's why they call it Official, not Final

), but I haven't encountered any yet.
I have never used Roboform, so I'm satisfied with the internal form filler.
