Chinese PC manufacturer Lenovo has confirmed its interest in buying rival Packard Bell. Currently the third-largest PC maker in the world in terms of units shipped with 8.3 percent of the market as of the end of the second quarter, Lenovo has been working hard to expand outside of its traditional Asian stronghold.
