Playstation 3 delayed until 2007
IT SEEMS Nvidia may well be right and the PlayStation 3 – complete with cells and the like will not produce any return on invesment at all.
The Toshiba-Sony cell tech will now cost an absolute fortune – as Nvidia predicted, and if we see it by 2005, we will all, at the INQ, fall over in surprise. Sony and its partners – we estimate – will have to invest at least four billion dollars into an early release. Oddly, they don't seem to have that amount of money.
