Despite the recent defection of NBC Universal, which was purportedly over pricing, Apple is trying to convince its partners to lower the price of video downloads by as much as 50%. This would lead to TV downloads being priced at 99¢. This flies in the face of what Hollywood wants, which is in fact - more money. Apple, of course, believes that increased sales will make up for the decreased price.
