Ligatt, a Los Angeles-based security firm, today said that hackers have begun to specifically scan IP addresses in areas such as Beverly Hills and Malibu in the hope to find an open door to a home computer of celebrities. The motivation for this new strategy: To find "private photos, family pictures, nude photographs, personal and sexual video footage" that can be sold to "tabloid newspapers," Ligatt said.
