Scythe Co., Ltd. began in Japan in 2002, eventually moving forward and landing in the U.S. in 2004. They set their sights on the Do-It -Yourself (DIY) crowd, striving to pump out high performing coolers that are also extremely quiet. As a new dog on the street back then, they introduced the Kamikaze CPU Cooler that earned them geek-cred in the cooling community. Jump to today, and they are clearly no longer one of the new dogs. Since the Kamikaze, they have produced many quiet coolers that have respectable thermal cooling performance.
