Google, Microsoft Up Storage Limits

Yesterday Microsoft announced, on an official company blog, that it was making some improvements to Windows Live SkyDrive, its free file storage service:

Increased storage limits to 1GB
RSS feeds for public folders
Share directly from SkyDrive
Name of uploader tagged on each file

1GB? Whoopee. There are plenty of other free storage sites with much higher limits. The other changes are minor, though helpful.
