Meet the Next Small Form Factor: DTX @ Extremetech

I didn't power it up. The DTX unit sent to me was supplied by AMD PR dude Damon Muzny directly from his desk; he actually uses it, and I don't want to peek at his hard drive.

I did, however, dissect the smallish unit to see the component layout. I hesitate to call it small, having worked with truly small form factor equipment in the form of Mini-ITX. While it's definitely smaller than a full tower or even a mid tower, the DTX desktop system I looked at was considerably larger than any mini- or micro- form factor I've encountered. The case itself measures 14" x 13" and sits 4" tall when laid flat.
