Well, i Won't lie, i got a decent system, a dual core AMD, 2 GB ram, and a pretty good graphic card (7800gtx), but... that... was all in the past.

Do you know those idiot people, that wanna OC? and they decide, ok, ill buy something, but not tooooooo expensive? like the gigabyte watersystem? so that their CPU will be justtttttt chilly enough? well...

how does the sound of a crack followed by the little gentle sounds of water sprinkling all over your computer, followed by a BUZZ SH%T MOFO OMG?! HELP!@#?@! MOMMMMYYYYYYYYYY sounds like?
(just to make sure you understand, the mommmmmyyy was shouted by the computer who was left in the side to cry as he sees me dying... truely! )

so i won't say anything more, i will not beg, i will not be down on my knees or anything so please:
PLEASE?!?!?!?!? MAKE ME THE WINNEERRR?!?! I CAN PERFORM ALL KINDS OF ^$$% ACTS!!!

Ho, i see i should write what i play, so here we go:
Farcry demo, NWN2, Dirt, Jericho, World in Conflict, Blazing Angels 2, Settlers 6, The Witcher, Tarr Chronicals, Ep1+2, Portal
And well, thats about it for now, unless your counting the major hours i spend on visual 2005 for the uni :\ life sucks. being a student suck, and hey, engineering... sucks. :P

Pick me I really need a new card, my current 6800GT has been slowly crapping out(loses video signal and locks pc after a short amount of time playing any graphics intense game like TF2 or WiC etc) have replaced almost every other part slowly with donations from friends for awhile but after losing job can't afford new decent video card. Even when it is working it has so much trouble running any of these newer games at any decent resolution and you have to turn off all the cool features tog et any fps from it.

I would love to have this card as my 6800 just wont cut the mustard anymore. I had major spine surgery 2 months ago and I am unable to work and I have no income. If I had this card I would be able to play games until I get well again and able to return to work. At the moment all i can play is BF2 on medium high settings *sigh*

*Oops forgot to mention fav game; Reality Mod for BF2, It's a lot of fun.

Man, having this card would just make me happy as a lark, ecstatic even. I love games; Crysis, Call of Duty, Gears of War, they all just make me giddy to no end. Know what else I love? DriverHeaven and Zotac. Yup, not afraid to say it. It's not often you get a such a group of intelegent, well rounded, dedicated folks, who really know what their doing. (I also hear they're all rather attractive). I'm just saying, but it's the truth.

I need this card because I want to see my Companies of men as Heroes. I want to really feel the Crysis at hand. I want to be God Like this Unreal Tournament. I must go into Enemy Territory to help fellow man against strogg in the Quake Wars. With this card my irish cyclops will be able to see better when he isnt drunk in TF2. I have waited Half my Life to help a garden gnome fly into space while watching it fly away beside alex. but most of all I need this card because if I tell my wife I need somethign better than a 6800 she will send me through the Portal into Oblivion.

I haven't upgraded my rig in over two years and now I finally find myself being unable to play the newer games. Being a Marine veteran who is married and has two kids doesn't afford me much "disposable" income. I've been saving up for a new MOBO, Proc etc. for well over 6 months now and winning this would actually save me a huge chunk of money and time. Being that I wok in a local video gaming store it would actually benefit me in my job as well.

I wish to win the video card because I've not been able to keep my current computer systems fast enough. My current video card is a Geforce 6600GT. I want continue developing mods for games, and it is my hope that a new video card would respark my interest in creating video game add-ons that I may share with other people, as I have in the past. Now, I have more monitor, I can see what I am doing, but my video card does show its age, as it is barely able to games.

I care about preserving video games as an art, and have contributed by creating an online petition working in a collaborated effort asking for driver support for 16-bit legacy gaming.

I am living in the San Francisco bay area, currently on a fixed income--about or below the poverty line. If should win the 8800GTX AMP, I will give away my current video card to someone who wants it. Should I win, I will not sell it. Should I be able to afford a better video card someday, I will give it away. Or if by then, and it's really old, with no one wanting it, such as a Voodoo 1, today, I will put it in my box of sentimental things and greeting cards that people have given me in the past. Perhaps someday I will look though the box and see the video card there, and even if was burnt out many years ago, it will put a smile on my face.

Since there's a fine line between want and need, I want this card because I'm waiting for AMD/ATI to come up with competition for the Nvidia 8800 series, and I'm too frugal to throw $400 at a new video card. I'm a firm advocate of honesty. *grin*

I want this card because with it, i can finally make my system compleatly silent! The HD2900 has no third party coolers here in sweden.

With this 8800Ultra AMP edition i would be getting uber-high performance AND would be able to run it fanless, making my system a high end - no noise - system.
