AOL Loses 1/3 of Its Subscribers in One Year

Source: Tech-Ex
__________
Time Warner released its Q3 earnings report today, and boy does it look sad for AOL. In terms of subcribers, numbers dropped 5.1 million to 10.1 million, over a 33% drop in one year's time.

Well good for them!

AOL sucks. Everyone knows that and it's only a matter of time before everyone finds out that you can do so much better!

Overpriced, slow and the customer service sucks.

AOL was just a dream that never worked well, so may alternatives now, and better ones too, lots of old farts though and country folk that use AOL...just too damn much advertising for me...

vailr is on a distinguished road

There's still some 5 year-old movies on DVD that have "A Time-Warner AOL Release" on the opening credits. Kind of embarrassing to look at, now.
