No Gimpshop 2.4 yet, unfortunately - it would be great if Gimpshop was less of a one-man band and could be rolled in to main gimp stream.

A partial conversion to a more Windows style way of working can be achieved using dewierdifier to manage the windows, and a few other tweaks.

Unaltered, GIMP operates in a very X-windows style, with multiple desktop windows, disconcerting in environments where the MDI style is the norm.

I like the GIMP style better than Photoshop.

I'm confused by both though I can use GIMP better than photoshop.

yeah, I have no probs keeping track of lots of windows, I prefer it tbh.
I like my GIMP

love it plus its free. my only gripe is that the windows are kinda annoying.
