Currently, World of Warcraft claims over nine million subscribers. While the really hardcore players are no doubt fewer in number, they're a dedicated lot. We have a few of them here at ET, ranging from folks really into fishing contests to devoted guild members frequently participating in large scale raids.

It's a measure of both the size of the WoW fan base and the increasing ease of customizing systems that one of the world's largest PC companies, Dell, is readying laptop systems just for World of Warcraft fans.
