Part of this has to be because satellite tv is offering much more when it comes to HD content. I know as soon as I move I am ditching cable tv.

They need to lower their prices to compete imho. They charge $18 a freakin month to lease a single hd-dvr and its total crap compared to dish offerings. And the fact that they mess with peoples internet doesn't help either. However, and this is a big however, cable's On Demand service is absolutely awesome and something that satellite has not matched yet. Dish Network has Dish Online which uses your internet connection to download movies but they are freaking expensive. Charging $4.99 for a 24hr rental of Robocop and Beverly Hills Cop is lunacy lol. And you can't record them on the dvr!!!
They all suck in one way or the other haha |
