HP to adopt same design for low-priced Pavilion and Presario notebooks

Starting this fall, Hewlett-Packard (HP) will adopt the same design for low-priced Pavilion and Presario notebooks, according to sources. While Taiwan’s Quanta Computer and Arima Computer are contract manufacturing various models of the two notebook series, Compal Electronics will replace the two as the sole provider of the low-priced models in September or October, sources said.
