I have a pair of these and they are ok but the black paint started rubbing off after about a good week taking them on and off and also these things will hurt your ears after about an hour of using them they squish against them because the cuffs are to shallow they should have made them deeper to fit around the ear completely. I have since then purchased the Logitech G51 5.1 Surround system and use that now and only use the Razors for the microphone. There are better alternatives so save your money and get something better or cheaper dont say i didnt warn you.

I used to have a pair of those. til I sold them and never looked back . The rear didnt have bass and it didnt really sound surround to me because of that. so I ditch them and got a real pair of headphones. If I need a mic, I can just get a clip on mic and clip them on the cord.

I used to have them. AFter a couple of weeks I was getting bad sound from the right speakers, to no sound. Contacted Razer, they were fast and without problems RMA the headset. Second headset, brand new too, arrives, FROM THE FIRST TRY it has the same issue as the one i returned. I contacted Razer...weeks and months passed, no reply. I ended up with a broker headset. Horrible company, even worse product.
The first headset while it worked, was not exactly the best in sound quality, but it was above average and I found the surround bit, good enough.

After weeks I bought AKG K271s and though they are not surround headset, with my x-fi they provide better experience than the razer ones. Oh, and far better sound quality.

What I am saying is, stay away from the Barracudas.
