VIA's Mini-ITX motherboards have been popular among users looking to build very small PCs for light-duty functions, such as a music server. Later, the company offered Nano-ITX, but that didn't seem to get a lot of traction. So last April, VIA upped the tiny PC ante by announcing Pico-ITX. This tiny-form-factor has roughly the dimensions of a credit card, though much taller of course.
