First Look at Firefox 3.0 Beta 3

What’s the best browser? That’s a question I get asked all the time. For years now I’ve been pretty non-committal when it came to taking sides in the browser wars - after all, a browser is a browser and it’s what’s displayed in the browser window that matters, not the browser itself. The browser is nothing more than a tool. However, the more I handle the betas of Firefox 3.0, the more I’m becoming attached to this browser.

the one that 2.0.12 was supposed to have fixed, something to do with extensions I believe

everything seems much more responsive, ive gotta say that much. one thing i dont like is what theyve done to the url bar. . i cant find anyway to disable this, or set it back to how it used to be.

I'm still on 2.0.0.12, is 3 running okay? Saw some stuff when it was beta and people were having problems.

Methious, I am using it - it occasionally crashes, but always remembers what tabs were open when it did, it is also MUCH more responsive and better at rendering pages (there is not much visible difference but it is a hell of a lot faster). Only real problem for me is almost none of my extensions are supported.
