I've used more than a few Thermaltake CPU coolers over the years; no surprise considering they've been in business since 1999. In fact my very first experience with their products was the Volcano 7, which I purchased specifically for overclocking based on recommendations from other users and the reputation of the Thermaltake name. Some years later I had the opportunity to try out the Golden Orb II, a revitalization of their original Golden Orb and a decent cooler in its own right. More recently I've reviewed one of their newest designs, the V1. It too is a decent performer, although extreme cooling isn't really its forte.
