System Specs

QNAP TS-209 Pro NAS server @ Tweak.DK

A NAS box (Network Attached Storage) is becoming more and more common in Danish homes. A NAS box might sound like some dangerously expensive hardware to a lot of people, but it is no such thing.

A NAS box is in most cases a standard PC, only smaller and made for one simple purpose, and it’s often controlled by a small Linux system on the box. A NAS box is basically an intelligent hard drive, connected to a network, but not the same as an external USB hard drive. A NAS box can do a lot more than a USB hard drive due to the fact that the NAS box is still a little PC in disguise.

This gorgeous little thing from QNAP, named TS209-PRO is no exception, and the design is top quality.
