Uh-oh. Best steer clear of this service pack for a good month until im aware of all the reported issues.

eh it should be fine for new hardware, maybe not the old stuff. my system is a-ok with it on 64bit

I'll download it when someone finds a new workaround for Vista x64's enforced driver signing with the updates SP1 has.

I have been installing the SP1 RTM that was leaked about 4 weeks ago on about 10 different PC's, with ATI, nvidia and Intel chipsets (including a 5 year old laptop!) and I have not had any issues at all. That covers single, dual and quad core systems. The lowest systems have only 1GB of RAM and feel a little more responsive than they did pre SP1.

My network copying is now lighting fast on a Gigbit connection, it is now slightly faster than XP for transfering 4.7GB files!

Go on, install it, you know you want too!
