Microsoft Windows Vista (32-bit) Service Pack 1
Windows Vista introduces a breakthrough user experience and is designed to help you feel confident in your ability to view, find, and organize information and to control your computing experience.
The visual sophistication of Windows Vista helps streamline your computing experience by refining common window elements so you can better focus on the content on the screen rather than on how to access it. The desktop experience is more informative, intuitive, and helpful. And new tools bring better clarity to the information on your computer, so you can see what your files contain without opening them, find applications and files instantly, navigate efficiently among open windows, and use wizards and dialog boxes more confidently. Microsoft Windows Vista has the following other editions available: Microsoft Windows Vista (64-bit). ____________ Download: Fileforum |

I'll download it when someone finds a new workaround for Vista x64's enforced driver signing with the updates SP1 has.

I have been installing the SP1 RTM that was leaked about 4 weeks ago on about 10 different PC's, with ATI, nvidia and Intel chipsets (including a 5 year old laptop!) and I have not had any issues at all. That covers single, dual and quad core systems. The lowest systems have only 1GB of RAM and feel a little more responsive than they did pre SP1.
My network copying is now lighting fast on a Gigbit connection, it is now slightly faster than XP for transfering 4.7GB files! Go on, install it, you know you want too! |
