Ultra Products sues Antec, Corsair, OCZ, Thermaltake and 18 other PSU companies

Modular power supplies are a hit among users, and personally, I like them much more than non-modular cabling. Usually, I work with 850+ watt power supplies and the cabling of non-moddable PSUs can easily be mistaken for a metallic creature from the sea. There are many manufacturers of modular power supplies on the market, but Ultra Products claims it is only one with the patent to cover these PSUs, or at least one part of it.

sounds like it. while i really liked their mod cable design/layout their psu's leave someting to be desired.

A patent is a patent. A ton of people get rich from inventing something. Even though Ultra builds power supplys that where really made for cell phones

they still get the royalties.

im using the ultra grid case with the 700w psu. its worked fine for me. i love the cable setup. it really keeps the case clean and neat. for the most part you cant see any of my cables. a must for clear sided cases...
