While Terabit hard drives appear to be all the rage, the GB/$ champion is still the 500GB hard drive. Coming in at just under 5GB/$1 it is hard to beat. Geeks.com was nice enough to send us one of their most popular models, the Hitachi DeskStar 500; with this being the goto hard drive, we here at VL thought we would take a look at what a cost efficient drive gets you.
