Asus EAH3850 Trinity

Just over a month ago pictures of Asus' concept card, the "Trinity" started surfacing around the internet. With only 10 put into production, select few media publications have been given the honor of seeing one in the flesh. However, yesterday ASUS were kind enough to make their way down to Overclock3D HQ with the card for a quick benchmarking session coupled with a nice cuppa tea!

That was an HD 3850X2, so the test only shows how the performance scales with the addition of the third GPU, not how it compares to the current ATI's top of the line. A 3850X2 has it's GPUs at 668MHz and memory at 1.65GHz, while 3870X2 has GPUs at 825MHz and memory at 1.8GHz, so it should perform similarily to Trinity.

The only thing that seperates the 3850 and the 3870 is memory speed really, by a pretty large margin nontheless
I might try slapping a big heatsink on my 3850 and see how far i can push it
