Lite-On IT has obtained OEM orders for 22x DVD burners both from Sony and BenQ, with volume production to begin in the third quarter of 2008, according to industry sources.

Lite-On IT recently has been competing for orders for 22x DVD burners from Japan-based vendors and recently secured orders from Sony and BenQ, the sources indicated.
