Sweden approves wiretapping law

Sweden's parliament has approved controversial new laws allowing authorities to spy on cross-border e-mail and telephone traffic. The country's intelligence bureau will be able to scan international calls, faxes and e-mails.

On this I hold a grudge that won't go away easily. That it had to be modified slightly before even barely passing through the parliament is what keeps me from exploding. The argumentations before the vote were actually quite hillarious, but I'm not laughing now.
