Imminent release of ATI R700 drives down UK prices of Nvidia GTX 280
Yep we all knew it was going to happen, and it is great for the consumer. We have seen deals this week on a few GTX 280's but this special on Overclockers.co.uk is the best UK deal we have seen. How does £279 inc vat for a Gainward model sound? Maybe time to hit the credit card? check it out over Here

For once the UK market is almost on a level with the USA !

Amd really has made a major comeback, cool beans AMD!

The GTX 280 is all the way down under 450$ now in the states, but the 4870 @ under 285 and 4850 under 190$ ... sick!

The only problem I see is that now I've totally lost interest in getting a 8800GT, 9800GTX+ or an HD 4850. Everything else just seems vastly outdated in comparison to the big guns from AMD and Nvidia and the prices are within reach (not that I still wouldn't want to win a 4850 ).
