Most fan controllers have many limitations, some of which include low wattage channels which can limit their ability to control other perhipherals that aren't fans. When you increase the wattage that you can control to over 100 watts per channel, you suddenly have a baybus that can control a lot more than just fans for you. Although it doesn't have a linear control dial for each channel like traditional fan controllers, the Lamptron Fan-Atic baybus gives you three voltage settings for each channel which will give you fairly decent control over any connected devices.
