nVidia nForce 2.42 drivers pulled?

Thanks to shuki for pointing this out to me.

It appears nVidia has removed their nForce 2.42 drivers from their site. Version 2.03 of the nForce drivers are the only ones availible now. One can only wonder why on Earth nVidia took them down, let's hope there's not another serious problem.

I noticed that earlier when I went to download them also. I didn't think anything of it though.

nVidia just updated the driver page with this message;

[color=red]Updated May 23, 2003:[/color] If you have previously downloaded the 2.41 or 2.42 nForce kits and have experienced any problems please follow these instructions on how to re-install previous drivers.

Luckily i have a dual boot because when i tried to restart XP i got a Missing or corrupted error in the system.
So i booted into win2k and copied the needed file from the nvidia recovery zip.

/me wipes off the sweat from forehead

Guys make sure you have a good restore point just incase and be sure to copy the contents of that recovery zip to a floppy.....you just might need it..
