Dell, Intel and their partners announced last week new technologies that represent major leaps forward for mobility. The companies seem to have discovered the secret to making such bold leaps: Cut Microsoft out of the deal.

What a bunch of BS.

Oh the new exciting technology, leap in the future for Dell, they...installed Linux!!!!! which makes not necessary to start Windows to check your email etc...WOW, give these guys a nobel price!!!

BTW, Toshiba has something similar for a while now where you can with the touch of a button load in less than 10 seconds a similar "breakthrough".

About the Intel wake on..call...perhaps I don't get it. I could swear there is wake on lan and wake on modem or whatever else it is called, for years now. You know, where you can have your PC OFF and remotely make it start.
But as I said, perhaps I don't get this new Intel technology.
