Lenovo ThinkPad SL400 Notebook

To address the special needs of small businesses, as well as to round-out the Thinkpad line, we get the SL series. While it is still officially a ThinkPad, the SL received a new design ID which immediately had people question its ThinkPad-ness. After all, Lenovo has expanded their notebook offerings to include the IdeaPads, which clearly capitalize on the ThinkPad brand without being included, and they still produce the 3000 series. The SL will fit into the mix by being affordable and feature-rich while leaving out the expensive enterprise stuff (think vPRO), and being well-rounded solutions. The series takes design cues from the standard T/R/X ThinkPads (the new W falls under this as well), but the design is varied enough that it is clear these have more of a consumer/entry-level feel to them.
