OpenClip Gets Closed
A few days ago I wrote about OpenClip, a framework which was designed to allow applications to perform copy-and-paste, something that has been missing (but really, really desired) from the iPhone.
Developer Zac White found a way to create a shared clipboard, which could then be used between applications. Well, it appears that iPhone firmware 2.1 is closing that loophole, so while copy-and-paste could stil work within a single application, the ability to do so between applications will no longer exist. ______________ Source: Tech-Ex |
