Email is secret elixir that makes us addicted to the Internet, but the overall infrastructure of it hasn’t changed in over ten years. The same can be said for GMail.

Somebody doesn't know how to use gmail. Good riddance to bad users. When you're done with the email, archive it and it automatically takes you back to the inbox. No one has 500 active emails at any given time (especially since gmail threads your replies).

Personally, he simply doesn't know how to use the filter / label system.

Why would anyone just leave 500 unread emails in his inbox? How is the lack of filters (if that is indeed the case), stops anyone from reading them?

I do like Yahoo Mail, by far my favourite, but....this blog...

you can also integrate gmail into MS outlook...

that's what i've done with my gmail account.

Labels are equivalent to folders with one added feature...you can put more than one label on the same email, allowing it to exist under multiple classifications.

Thats unfortunately part of the problem, anyone does.

If I read any more articles about how "much vista sucks" with some eegit quoting a "horrible" feature (which you can turn off with one mouse click) I think ill be up for manslaughter. Most tech based blogs should be banned.
