No, no one at the ISP was arrested, so strike that from your mind. In this case, it was Carol Sinclair, a 53-year-old Halifax actress and playwright. Not your typical criminal, mind you.

What is wrong with people.. you can't even jokenly say "hostage" and suddenly your being hauled off and fined for it?

I would have asked the bastard to stay till the next one came along and they both figure the pos out. Instead the ISP should be getting thier asses kicked in to no end, and the techy a good whipping.

I don't think a person that was intending to hold someone hostage would say, "I don't want to hold you hostage."

And since when does a person holding someone hostage automatically have a gun. Isn't possible they could have a knife or even have some deadly ninja skills.
