iTunes 8 Re-released; Vista BSOD "Fixed"

I wrote earlier about the problems faced by many users of Windows Vista with the latest version of iTunes (8.0.0.35). Apple went so far as to have an employee jump into the support forums to address the issue, which generally means they're admitting there's a problem --- not something they frequently do.

I am running Vista 64 and have not yet ran into any problems.

Stupid crApple!

It would make more sense to release 8.01, so people would get this update when running the Apple Software Updater..

Why is Apple having such a hard time programming good software?

Really these last 6 to 7 months have just been horrible. Bugs, crashes, driver problems with the Iphone, Ipod touch, mobile me etc.

I think they are expanding to fast and just can't keep up?

they've even had to release 4 point releases to get leopard running stable

Yeah Apple better get their act together or they are going to start looking worse than Microsoft because even they can release updates and fixes that work on such a brad base of computers most of the time lol

Do you think by a slim chance that Apple does this just to make Windows and Vista users mad and give them more of a reason to want to buy a Mac?

Most likely just going out on a limb saying that, but since they also had some OSX issues with 8 I am sure they aren't, but who knows.

Actually I thought of this when this issue first cropped up. However, I try to keep ITunes as far away from my computer as possible. The only thing I use it for is updates to my video ipod.
