As we closed in on the three-year anniversary of the introduction of the original iPod nano, there was no question in anyone's mind that the FallApple Event would see the launch of the fourth generation of the pint-sized music player. Predictably, Apple met that expectation, and the company
still somehow managed to get fans buzzing about yet another redesign of the device. A physical redesign! New colors! New features! Even though many of the new nano's details were leaked ahead of time—and despite the fact that the iPhone/iPod touch are the future of the iPod line—people just can't get over the original iPod's little brother.
