The Trouble with Zunes

When Microsoft introduced the Zune portable music player almost two years ago, even people at the company made light of it. Microsofties called it "the brick." The Zune was larger than Apple's sleek iPod. It also came in white, black...and brown.

Can you imagine Steve Jobs approving a brown iPod?

If the Zune and Ipod were released the same time and put the same about of adversitiving into each I bet they would be about equal.

But like it said, not that much reason to switch. Everyone likes Itunes, the interface of the Ipod etc.

I have an Ipod. It works and does the job. I use Itunes just for updated my ipod and music to it, but use the much easier and useful Zune software to manage my music collection!

Itunes drives me nuts because of the gray bars and the lack of any color or pop. Plus it takes 10 years to load up no matter what computer you have and I find it harder to deal with all the music I have.

But yeah maybe when my Ipod no longer works I may switch to that 120gig zune or something, but for now my Ipod is fine!

There is one big reason to buy a zune, and that is... while ipods might be good hardware, itunes sucks! I've rarely found software that aggravated me like itunes. But this 'big' reason to buy a zune... also is why creative and others are still in business. Microsoft has to give us reasons to ignore the other 'players' as well.

Yeah I agree.

Itunes is the only program that pisses me off to no end.

I am surprised the general public likes it.
