T-Mobile Intros the Android G1

Tuesday morning in New York City, T-Mobile and Google held their much anticipated launch event for the first Android phone, the T-Mobile G1. While the name of the device isn't as snappy as say, iPhone, and while it's unlikely the device is going to generate the buzz of that device, there open-source nature of the device OS and the backing of many partners in the Open Handset Alliance, is bound to give this device legs.
