Microsoft and Washington state are cracking down on scammers who bombard computer users with fake warning messages in the hope of selling them useless software.

Thank Christ for that, nothing more than annoyance to me but i've seen people get suckered in by these pop ups and end up wasting their money

Yeah a true scam.

Just a false advertising all the way. All the company's offering this should be toast with lawsuits.
