AT&T drops Dish for DirecTV
AT&T is switching its satellite TV provider.
The telecommunications giant announced Friday that it will drop Dish Network and replace it with DirecTV, after January 31. AT&T has had a joint marketing deal with Dish since 2003. _______________ Source: Wireless Blog (News.com) |

Must be a money thing. I have dish and just love it Would like the NFL ticket thing, but even if I could get it I would not be willing to pay that much anyways lol.

in the states who is the biggest cable TV provider? In canada its Rogers/Shaw, Rogers was also joint with AT&T years ago

In toronto, its like everyone knows the channel line up for cable, and many cities are like that. I guess time warner would be the same. I work for Bell Canada and I sell Bell TV, yet I don't like it lol. Need a true cable system, true landline system and GSM wins most everywhere hands down. But cable will probably just become another part of the IP as IPTV will become available to consumers soon in Canada.
