Overclocking the Athlon 3200+ to the limit
AN ARTICLE AT Ace's Hardware follows up on a comparison between AMD's 3200+ and Intel's 3GHz Pentium 4C. The man Johan sees if he can push things to the limit.
Bit-Tech looks at the BF Group Eyegonomic TFT monitor. Despite it having probably the worst name for any product we've seen this week, the boys reckon it's a good performer and is stylish. Perhaps a change of name is in order. Here. The chaps at VR-Zone have a shufty at Intel's Sproutdale chipsets – in particular the 865Gee and the 865PE (physical education). You can find the reviews here. In a bold attempt to bring down Kenneth E's Endian.Net site, we'd invite you to look at the rather groovy Timeline feature for roadmaps, right over here. Sharks Extreme has a look at memory prices in this article here. The good news is for consumers the prices are still low, low. Which is, of course, bad news for the Dramurai. Xbit Labs takes out the Audigy 2 Platinum eX, plugs it in and listens to see if the $190 price tag is worth the dosh. Here's an article on The Pabster, which reviews the Acer Travelmate 803 LCi. This is a Mr. Centrino machine and gains the title of the Ferrari of the Centrinos from the site. Ed S at Overclockers scrutinizes the AMD pricing stuff to see if Chimpzilla has got its act together yet. Lastly, listlessly and lastly, Hardware.com is still full of boring old stuff about Cisco routers. __________________ Source: TheInquirer |

OK, what's the point of the monitor, Sproutdale, Timeline, memory, Audigy2, Centrino....... Only the first article deals with "Oveclocking the Athlon 3200+ top the limit."

That article wasn't that good, they should have done some overclocking with the P4. They also should have discussed the cooling set-up they used for it.
