Apple's "Brick" Laptop Leaked? $800 Laptop Rumored

Many believe the rumored Apple "Brick" is a manufacturing process, a way of cutting a MacBook out of a brick of aluminum. On Wednesday information began to leak in the form of photos of (reportedly) Brick-based MacBooks, as well as rumors of an $800 laptop coming from Apple, soon. It's unclear if the two are one-and-the-same.

How can they release a $800 computer when you really can't get any more basic then the Mac book?

Can't really cut back on the ram, cpu etc since its already base lined? Unless they make the Mac Book the $800 line and work up from there. That would make sense!

I think their goal is to make manufacturing and assembly cheaper, which would make the laptop cheaper.

Yeah if its an amazing computer for $800 maybe I would buy it and then load up Vista!
