Today Apple held its previously announced "Spotlight Turns to Notebooks" event. And besides new notebooks and new chipsets, they gave us more.

Re: Apple's Notebook Event: New MacBooks and "The Brick"
I do have to say that I am impressed with the new Mac Book.
It finally looks like a computer and not a toy. They decided this time around to put some style in and make it seem more worth your money than the crappy plastic white or black look. Still to expensive for me, but I do like the look. Specs are more or less the same. To hard for me to turn down specs from my Asus laptop that is $1,300 when looking at the new mac book for $1,300... Just could not afford to get a computer that will not last as long for the same amount of money. Overall however I am impressed |

It's actually tempting me (and that's saying a lot).
