In 2007 Seagate launched a line of external hard drives that they named the "Free Agent" series. They coupled the performance and reliability of Seagate's internal drives with stylish enclosures and useful software; offering models to suit a variety of applications. The most portable version of this series of external drives was called the "Free Agent Go", and Seagate has recently refreshed the design with a whole new line up.
