With DDR3 getting all the attention lately it's easy to overlook DDR2 performance memory. There are many very good reasons to consider DDR2 including but not limited to price and performance. Today Benchmark Reviews takes a look at at one potential price

OCZ makes some nice RAM but not really a fan of this heatsink configuration. I noted a post by Judas on another thread (that I can't find now) regarding the larger angled heatsinks like the ones used on my ReaperX PC8500 RAM.

As far as I can tell the idea of the angled heatsinks is to separate the bodies of the ram sticks by only using 1 slot in each bank. Using 4 x 1G like in this kit the RAM bodies are close together limiting airflow. A buddy on another forum has had issues with this type of module burning out under load ...

Anyway nice looking RAM from OCZ
